Michael Bashir - technically he's the creation of another fanfic writer who's name has been lost to the mists of fanfic history. The name has been used in a lot of other stories but this characterization is solely mine. Basic history: he's obviously Dr. Bashir's father. Estranged at that. They really haven't spoken for some time and when they do, it was hardly civil. Part 2 reintroduces him and begins the fun of family feuding.

Gloria Bashir - is MINE, ALL MINE!!!! She's my character and is based on family members so you touch her character and you invoke my wrath. Basic history: she's the first daughter of Julian Bashir and Jadzia Dax....not much else to say except that she's really cute.

Dr. Leah Wilkes - is also mine. I brought her in to fill a plot line and she's still sort of a background character. Basic History: comes from a large family that eventually settled in St. Louis after moving about. She's the "Assistant Chief Medical Officer" in title but she also works in the lab quite a bit (eventually). An excelent diagnostician. Specialized in Interspecies Pediatric Care at the Academy.

Jasmine Tahir Sayed - the name is someone elses but the character is mine (Jasmine is the creation of a fanfic author's. Tahir....if you're a fan of Siddig el Fadil (Dr. Bashir on DS9), you'll get it). She's Dr. Bashir's estranged mother (one tends to wonder about that family...). She shows up on DS9 for one story. Basic History: she was divorced by Michael Bashir when Julian was about six. She was entirely kept out of her son's life until very recently.
