page. (Wow, where did the year go? I hadn't realized it had
been so long since I posted #18. Time has a way of getting away from a
person.)
I'm going on vacation for the next week. I have a tennis tournament
tomorrow but hopefully I'll get some writing done over the next few
days. I trust everyone's having a great summer, and with any luck,
it'll be a spectacular fall/autumn. Take care.

Mom passed away
Monday afternoon after suffering a massive stroke eight days earlier.
On one hand, it felt like I lost my mom a year earlier when she was
diagnosed with Alzheimers, but on the other, I still miss her.
Had some trouble with spam on the message board, but it seems to be
clearing up now.

Added Determined to Fail to
the Bad Girls After Larkhall series.
Sorry, I meant to post this in the morning before work, but I ran late
and had to post after I got home. Hope everyone's having a great new
year and that it's a great deal warmer where you are. Wind chill is -32
C today. Bit nippy walking home this afternoon.
Updated my Links page. Nothing particular of
note. Just steamlined a bit.

Ah, screw it. I have
to work tomorrow and I'm off today so I can watch the Lions & the
Packers so I'll update early.
Added Onward Bound to
the Bad Girls After Larkhall
series.
I plan to add
more stories to this series. I find that writing Nikki and Helen tends
to transition me into writing 'ordinary characters' rather than
'super-heroes' as Janeway and Seven are in that kind of Trek universe.
I hope to really knuckle down and get a novel or two out over the
winter.
I now go out and stay with my mom on the weekends, from Friday night
until Monday morning. I'm still working at Walkers, Tuesday to Friday,
so there's not a lot of time during the week, but at Mom's, there's no
internet access. Fortunately, I recently bought a laptop from Dell, so
I tend to write a lot when I'm out there. (There's not much else to do.
*G*). Not sure how long the routine will last for obvious reasons, but
it certainly is increasing my output.
