Bev Heavy Episodes

Episodes with Bev having meaningful dialogs or Bev facts. Episode number is the air date order. I'm sad to say that I haven't seen or remember most of these episodes so I'm going by The Star Trek:TNG Companion for accuracy.

(*) means a must see! (**) means that the story centers on Beverly and of course must be seen more than once. (?) means I can't remember the show. Just because I haven't rated some shows doesn't mean I think they are unimportant; they're on this chart aren't they!

These episodes are linked to the ultimate Star Trek The Next Generation Directory! I don't have time or the space to really give a good report so why not use the resources available! Also, a lot of Bev Heavy Episodes didn't do so well on the show ratings so GO AND VOTE PEOPLE!!!!

Episode Number and Name

Bev importance

#1 Encounter at Farpoint Station (*)

Meet Bev for the first time! First time we get to see her fiery temper, tension between Picard and Crusher, and her devotion to her son.

#2 The Naked Now (*)

Dr. Bev to the rescue! Jean-Luc and Beverly are really attracted to each other. ;)

#11 The Big Goodbye (*)

Beverly plays on the holodeck with Jean-Luc.Bev gives Picard the "look" in this episode and he looks her over appreciating her costume.

#20 The Arsenal Of Freedom (*) Supposed to be a Picard-Crusher love story but Gene changed his mind. WHY? Information about Felicia Howard and Arvada III. Picard has to care for the injured Doctor.
#21 Symbiosis We get to see Bev and Picard scream at each other over the Prime Directive. A very good episode for seeing her as a compassionate Doctor.
#55 The Price O.k. this is a Deanna episode by far but Bev and Deanna have a very nice scene. Get to find out about 2 of Bev's past lovers. :o)
#59 The High Ground (**) She's taken hostage by Kyril Finn who is falling in love with her. She and Picard have an interesting conversation, where we find out Bev hails from North America. The first (?) time we hear "Jean-Luc, there's something I've been meaning to tell you..."
#65 Allegiance (*) False Picard woos Beverly and leaves her confused. You have to see her facial expression! It's classic! Also, Picard's discomfort at the end is a MUST see! ;o)
#72 Transfigurations Was supposed to be a Bev love episode but turned out to be a Bev and a patient that she might of had some feelings for episode. Again another good Bev as a Doctor episode.
#77 Family We get to see "The Book" that Jack gave her!!
#78 Remember Me (**) She becomes trapped in Wesley's experiment and people are disappearing all the time. Until she's all by herself. Bev interned with Dr. Quaice after Wesley was born.
#84 Data's Day Learn Bev won a dance competition in St. Louis and was called the "Dancing Doctor" at the academy. Plus you get to see her dance with Data!
#89 Galaxy's Child Dr Crusher performs a cesarean section on an alien with the Enterprise's phasers.
#96 The Host (**) "Dr. Beverly" falls in love with Odan but he becomes injured and needs a new host. Bev is crestfallen when she realizes that Odan's new host is a woman and admits she can't deal with Odan's constant changes.
#111 Violations (*) Bev is forced to revisit her visit with Jean-Luc to the morgue to identify Jack's dead body.
#117 Cause and Effect (**) Bev is the first one to figure it out! It only takes her 15 days, just imagine how long it would have taken without her. Major bonus we get to see her quarters!
#120 The Perfect Mate A very good Jean-Luc and Beverly as friends episode.
#130 True Q An if Bev had a daughter episode. Also you can see that Bev isn't afraid of telling anyone off when she tries to give Q a piece of her mind!
#135 Chain of Command I Bev's very good with flirting and repelling.
#146 The Chase Bev helps Picard figure out an old archaeological mystery.
#147 Frame of Mind Bev wrote Frame of Mind for her amateur theater group.
#148 Suspicions (**) Bev plays detective and ends up being relieved of duty. With Guinan's advice and her gut feelings, Bev decides to break orders and continue the investigation on her own.
#145 Descent I    &#152 Descent II Dr. Crusher is in command and she out smarts the Borg!
#159 Attached (**) Picard and Crusher are telepathically linked. She becomes aware that Picard was once in love with her. At the end, Picard is willing to explore their newfound feelings but she rather stay friends-"at least for now." Is that a hint?
#165 Sub Rosa (**) The famous "Howard candle ghost" seduces Beverly. Ronin lures Beverly into resigning from Starfleet to be with him at Caldos IV. Picard pleads with Beverly to stay in Starfleet.
#170 Genesis Nan made a good point, although this IS NOT a Bev Heavy episode. Gates McFadden DID direct this episode, because of this it should be on the list. So now it is!
#176 All Good Things (*) The very last episode has the future Captain Beverly Picard of the NCC-58928 Pasteur. It turns out that Beverly and Jean-Luc were married but ended up divorced. Bev kisses him and tells him that the future was definitely not set in stone. (She wants him!)
