All right, enough of the boring information that Paramount gives out! Here is my attempt to tell you about the good doctor's past, present, and future. Well, technically it's all in the future. :) All of the information I looked up from many, many, sources, but most of it has a lot of my biased opinion concerning her feelings during this time. So tough!
October 13, 2324, Copernicus City, Luna, Beverly Cheryl Howard was born! Her parents Paul and Isabel Howard were extremely happy. Due to some circumstances her parents where killed (anyone know how or when?). Poor Bev was brought up by her grandmother Felisa Howard on Caldos IV. During this time she had a major crush on Stefan (8 years old) who did not know she even exist when she was 5 (if he saw her now he would!). When she was 13, she experimented with her hair color and dyed it brown. She is later recalled that she could not dye it back fast enough! (More evidence that she's an adventures!) She took some dance classes, was in some drama productions, and developed her interest in biology. She was quite out-going to say the least and from what I understand she was quite a guy magnet. :) Did you know that she's afraid of heights too?
While living with her grandmother she learn about herbs, healing, and medicine. Her grandmother had a profound influence on Beverly. Beverly and her grandmother traveled a lot and during their travels they ended up at Arvada III. Her experience on Arvada III had a profound influence on her life (at least that's what Paramount keeps saying, but they never say what happen!! Except that it was a very bad disaster.). She and her grandmother used their knowledge of various herbs to help care for the colonists when all conventional medical supplies were exhausted. I guess she decided to go to medical school because of that.
In 2342 , young Beverly is accepted and attends Starfleet Medical! (Yippee!!) While she's there she has tons of fun and of course becomes known as one of the most outstanding upcoming doctors. She learns to control her quirky sense of humor and tongue after a date (I'm guessing it was at Starfleet) went bad due to her remark about his beard (Attached). A couple of weeks before meeting Jack Crusher she had an intense relationship that lasted a week ("But, what a week!" - The Price). Beverly was introduced to Lt. Jack Crusher (what a babe!) by their mutual friend Walker Keel. It took her months to figure out her relationship with Jack. He must have shared her quirky sense of humor because he proposed to her by giving her a gag gift, a book entitled How to Advance Your Career Through Marriage. They married in 2348 and Beverly was introduced to Jean-Luc Picard, a very good friend of Jack's. In 2349, Wesley was born. A year later, Beverly graduated from Starfleet. In 2352, she interned with Dr. Dalen Quaice on Delos IV (Remember Me).
In 2354, Lt. Commander Jack R. Crusher died while under the command of Captain Jean-Luc Picard on the U.S.S. Stargazer (Encounter at Farpoint). She continued her career in Starfleet and it beats me and the rest of the world what she did during the time Jack died and when she became the Chief Medical Officer aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise. My guess is that she continued to add awards to her resume and raise Wesley by herself.
In 2364, Stardate 41154 at 1400 hrs 3 minutes, she and Wesley came aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise due to the strong resistance from Captain Jean-Luc Picard (he couldn't stand the fact she turned him on). He quickly changed his mind (after a small taste of the Howard temper I can see why-I'd hate to see the poor girl that Wesley dates and Beverly doesn't like).
If you want to know what she did for the 6 years she was on the Enterprise go watch the episodes! I don't know if I'm crazy enough to even TRY to give detailed descriptions of each and every episodes! O.k. maybe I am crazy but I'm NOT that crazy!!
